Diplomatic sources revealed that the two ministers addressed the situation and Türkiye's commitment to providing humanitarian assistance following a devastating dam disaster.

During the conversation, Kuleba extended congratulations to Fidan on his recent assumption of office and extended an invitation for him to visit Ukraine in the near future.

Fidan officially took over the position of Foreign Minister from his predecessor, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, on Monday. Prior to his appointment, Fidan had served as the head of Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) for a period of 13 years.

Expressing his remarks on social media platform Twitter, Kuleba shared the highlights of their call, stating: "In our call, I congratulated my Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on his appointment and updated him on the dire humanitarian and environmental consequences of the Kakhovka disaster. He affirmed that Türkiye is working on providing humanitarian assistance to alleviate the crisis.”

The discussion between the foreign ministers reflects the importance of international cooperation and support during times of crisis. Türkiye's commitment to offering humanitarian aid demonstrates its dedication to assisting Ukraine in overcoming the challenges posed by the dam disaster. (ILKHA)
