Afghan PM vows to promote Islamic banking throughout the country

Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, recently met with officials from the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan, where he expressed the Emirate's commitment to the development of Islamic banking within the country.

During the meeting, Jaweed Ahmad Zahiri, the executive chairman of the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan, expressed his satisfaction with the efforts of the Emirate's officials in upholding the Islamic banking system. He provided information about the availability of Islamic banking services across all provinces and districts, highlighting the bank's significant investments in the healthcare sector.

Zahiri emphasized the bank's dedication to serving the people through Islamic banking and stated that government companies are given priority in the investment sector.

Deputy Prime Minister Hanafi commended the bank's activities and reiterated the Islamic Emirate's determination to promote Islamic banking throughout Afghanistan. He assured that the Emirate's officials would spare no efforts in this sector.
