Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan denies false statements attributed to Deputy PM Abdul Ghani Baradar

The spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zebihullah Mujahid, stated that the social media posts containing statements attributed to Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar are not accurate.

It has been revealed that the statement shared on social media, attributed to Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stating, “Our troops have been deployed in Türkiye. We are waiting to make a revolution together with Jundullah and Hezbollah. We are striving to see Türkiye in our own world,” is false.

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zebihullah Mujahid, made a statement regarding the posts circulating on this matter. He emphasized that Abdul Ghani Baradar did not make such a statement, and furthermore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not have such policies. He underscored that the allegations are baseless and false.

In his released audio statement, spokesperson Mujahid conveyed the following message:

“May peace be upon you.

The statements circulating about Abdul Ghani Baradar in our brotherly country Türkiye are devoid of truth. Mr. Abdul Ghani Baradar did not make such a statement. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not pursue such a policy. We do not interfere in the internal affairs of any country and harbor no intention of causing any conflicts with any nation. Türkiye is our brotherly country, and we hold them in high regard. We enjoy close relations with them. The published material does not reflect the truth, and we categorically reject it.” (ILKHA)
