The figures released by Türkiye's High Election Board indicate that neither Erdogan nor Kilicdaroglu surpassed the 50% threshold required to avoid a second round.

With nearly 49.3% of ballot boxes counted, Erdogan obtained 49.30% of the votes while Kilicdaroglu received 45.02%.

Sinan Ogan, a third nationalist presidential candidate, held 5.3% of the vote and could play a pivotal role in the runoff based on his endorsement.

In the parliamentary vote, Erdogan's Ak Party, in alliance with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and other groups, performed better than expected and appeared to be on track for a majority. (ILKHA)
