This investment proposal was discussed during a meeting between Mr. Ciliv and the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor.
During the meeting, Minister Mansoor commended the 77 Turkish company for its actions in Afghanistan, particularly for its successful implementation of the second phase of the Kajaki Dam project.
He emphasized the importance of further developing investment in energy projects and assured Mr. Ciliv of the ministry's commitment to facilitating cooperation and creating investment opportunities.
In response, Mr. Ciliv expressed his company's willingness to invest not only in the proposed wind power project but also in strengthening their past cooperation.
Both parties agreed to promptly sign a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Energy and Water and the 77 Turkish company to initiate the 200 megawatts wind power generation project. This agreement will pave the way for the commencement of practical work on the project.
The discussions reflect the shared commitment of Turkey and Afghanistan to expand collaboration in the energy sector, fostering sustainable development and addressing the country's electricity needs. (ILKHA)
