HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu highlighted that the Kurdish issue and the obstacles faced by religious individuals stem from the practices during the CHP period. He expressed doubt in the CHP's ability to address these challenges.
During a live broadcast on Al Jazeera, Yapıcıoğlu shared his insights on current events. He emphasized that their party offers comprehensive solutions to various issues in Turkey, particularly addressing the significant hurdles that hinder religious freedom, which has been a long-standing problem.
Yapıcıoğlu also acknowledged the gradual removal of these obstacles under the AK Party's governance. Moreover, he underscored the economic toll and human losses caused by the Kurdish issue, highlighting its detrimental impact on the country.
Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that both the challenges faced by religious individuals and the Kurdish issue can be traced back to the mindset and actions of the CHP during their rule. Consequently, he asserted that the CHP, being the root cause of these problems, is incapable of resolving them.
“Taking into account these two crucial issues, it becomes evident that supporting the CHP is not viable. The AK Party's rule has witnessed significant progress, including the removal of barriers hindering religious practices, such as the freedom to wear hijab, and the inclusion of religious individuals in government positions and public service. Additionally, the AK Party has recognized the existence of Kurds and their language in addressing the Kurdish issue. These advancements demonstrate the necessity of standing by and supporting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's leadership,” Yapıcıoğlu said.
In March, Yapıcıoğlu announced his party's endorsement of President Erdoğan's re-election in the upcoming May 14 elections. (ILKHA)
