Zionist army razes Palestinian school in eastern Bethlehem

Local sources said that zionist forces stormed Beit Tamar, cordoned off the area around the school and seized its contents before bulldozers embarked on demolishing it.

The school, which was built of makeshift materials, was attended by about 66 students. It was demolished in 2017 before it was rebuilt in the same year.

Last March, an israeli court issued a verdict ordering the demolition of the school after it rejected a petition filed against the measure.

Clashes reportedly took place between local residents and zionist soldiers in the vicinity of the school. Several citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events. (ILKHA)
