In a tweet, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani accused the United States of bearing responsibility for the zionist regime's terrorist activities targeting Iran's nuclear facilities and personnel.

Shamkhani referenced remarks made by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, who had suggested that the US would acknowledge Israel's "freedom of action" if Iran sought to acquire nuclear weapons.

These allegations align with the consistent claims made by the US and its allies regarding Iran's nuclear program. Iran has consistently emphasized the peaceful nature of its nuclear pursuits and its adherence to religious principles that prohibit the acquisition and use of nuclear weapons.

Shamkhani's statement implies that the US should accept the consequences of its admission, as it implies responsibility for the zionist regime's terrorist acts against Iran.

The zionist regime has been involved in the assassination of several Iranian nuclear scientists and has carried out terrorist attacks against Iran's nuclear installations.

Despite being the only possessor of nuclear weapons in the Middle East, with hundreds of atomic warheads, Israel has evaded international accountability primarily due to unwavering support from its biggest ally, the United States. (ILKHA)
