President Erdogan praises Türkiye's indigenous defense projects, including KAAN aircraft

In particular, he mentioned the recent unveiling of the domestic fifth-generation military aircraft KAAN, which was presented to the public on May 1 at the TUSAS Aerospace Center in Ankara.

Erdogan noted that some had doubted the feasibility of this project, but it has now become a reality, along with other important defense projects such as the Hürjet aircraft, Atak-2 helicopter, and Anka-3 attack drone.

According to Erdogan, these developments demonstrate that Türkiye is not only capable of producing advanced weapons but also of developing new technologies, which aligns with the goals of the Türkiye’s Centenary concept. (ILKHA)
