The downpour in Balochistan province, located in the southwestern part of the country, began on the previous day and was accompanied by hail.

The rains caused flooding and accidents, resulting in three additional deaths in different parts of the region.

Loss of life was reported in Huzdar, Lasbela, Kech, Kila Seyfullah, Kohlu, and Chaman areas of Balochistan, while heavy rainfall also claimed the lives of many farm animals.

PDMA had announced the day before that five people had lost their lives due to floods and accidents caused by precipitation.

The heavy rains have also led to the closure of two crucial roads, cutting off the state from the rest of the country, and causing damage to numerous houses and agricultural fields. (ILKHA)
