The preparations for the celebration of Mawlid Al Nabi, which marks the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH), have been completed in the designated venue.

The foundation, which had suspended its Mawlid Al Nabi events due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has decided to resume the celebrations this year.

The theme of this year's event, which is being held at Nevruz Park in Bağlar district after a three-year hiatus, is "Prophet Muhammad: The Most Beautiful Example".

“For the past month, we have been engaged in preparatory work for an upcoming event. Our team of friends and volunteers have put in great effort to ensure that everything is ready, from the decoration of the venue to the establishment of the platform, as well as the accommodation of our guests and the comfort of those attending the event. We are now eagerly anticipating the arrival of the people of Diyarbakır, who are expected to attend the event at 1:30 PM today,” Menaf Adıyaman, one of the members of the Mawlid al-Nabi Organizing Committee from the Prophet's Lovers Foundation, told Ilke News Agency.
