During an iftar event in Malatya with earthquake survivors, President Erdogan stated that the government's goal is to swiftly address the issues faced by all disaster victims, whether they reside in the affected regions or other provinces. He further expressed the government's desire to provide them with new homes where they can comfortably reside as soon as possible.
“We never leave our quake-hit brothers and sisters alone wherever they are right now, within or outside the earthquake zone,” Erdoğan said.
Erdoğan went on to say: “We have already started the construction of nearly 100 thousand residences and village houses across the region. Inshallah, we will deliver the first village houses in our two provinces on Eid al-Fitr. We aim to build a total of 650 thousand residences, 319 thousand of which will be built within the first year, and deliver them to their rightful owners. In Malatya, we will build a total of 70 thousand residences and 25,300 village houses.”
Praising the Türkiye’s indigenous car Togg, and TCG Anadolu UAV carrier ship as precursors of the Century of Türkiye, Erdoğan said: “Togg received 177,000 pre-orders in the first week. Inshallah, you will see more than 20,000 Toggs on our roads this year. On Monday, we crowned the momentum we achieved with Togg with the delivery of our TCG Anadolu aircraft carrier. With TCG Anadolu, the world's first UCAV carrier ship and the largest warship of our country, we have risen to a different league in this field.”
“Towards the end of this month, we are commissioning the first unit of Akkuyu, Türkiye’s first nuclear power plant. And also, very soon, we are completing the integration of the natural gas we discovered in the Black Sea into our national system,” Erdoğan said. (ILKHA)
