It is all Muslim leaders' responsibility to liberate Al Aqsa Mosque from the zionist occupation

“The attacks launched by the zionists did not come as a surprise. For a long time, they have had a plan to attack Masjid al-Aqsa, using the so-called 'Passover' as a pretext. They do it every year,” Yaşasın told Ilke News Agency.

“They want to demolish the Masjid al-Aqsa completely and to build something new, which they call the 'Solomon Temple'. So, they aim to drive the Muslims out of there completely,” Yaşasın added.

“All Muslims have a responsibility to end the Zionist aggression against Al Aqsa Mosque”

Yaşasın went on say: “Muslims have a critical responsibility for the protection of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque. As we constantly emphasize, Masjid al-Aqsa, one of our unchanging constants, is our third holy place after the Haramayn, the two cities of Mecca and Medina. It is one of the most important mosques after the Kaaba. Our qibla before the Kaaba was Jerusalem. In this respect, every Muslim should take responsibility to end the pressure on Masjid al-Aqsa by forcing all means from where they are, and finally rid it completely of the dirt of the Zionists.

Yaşasın underlined that Islamic scholars, opinion leaders, intellectuals, writers, and NGOs, especially the leaders of Muslim countries, have an important role in the liberation of Jerusalem.

“In this regard, the responsibility falls on the shoulders of leaders of Islamic countries, especially Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Muslims expect such leaders to take concrete steps. It is not something that can be passed over with just condemnation,” Yaşasın added.

At dawn on Wednesday morning, dozens of Muslim worshipers were injured, and hundreds were arrested during violent israeli police raids on the Al-Qibli prayer building at the Aqsa Mosque. (ILKHA)
