Jordan calls for urgent Arab League meeting after Zionist aggression against Al Aqsa Mosque

Jordan on Wednesday called for an extraordinary meeting of the Arab League after Zionist occupation forces attacked Palestinian worshipers in Al Aqsa Mosque.

The Arab League is planning to hold an emergency session this afternoon to discuss the situation in Jerusalem and at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“Jordan, following coordination with Palestine and Egypt, as chair of the current session, called for an emergency meeting of the Arab League at the level of permanent representatives in light of the developments at Al-Aqsa Mosque,” Jordanian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Dozens of Muslim worshipers were injured and over 400 others were arrested during violent zionist police raids on the Aqsa Mosque last night and at dawn Wednesday, according to al-Qastal News website. (ILKHA)
