Türkiye to write a new success story at the centenary of its foundation, Erdoğan says

Speaking at an iftar dinner in Istanbul’s district of Bağcılar, Erdoğan said: “We are embellishing Türkiye with investments in every area from transport to health, from education to environment and urbanization. We will never stop, rest, or veer off our goals until we achieve the great leap forward, which we call the Century of Türkiye.”

“We will fulfill all the promises we have made”

Making a speech at the iftar, Erdoğan said that the holy month of Ramadan is being observed by the Turkish nation in a spirit of maximum solidarity in line with its meaning and importance despite the grief felt across the country.

Noting that state institutions and municipalities have rushed to the aid of quake victims by working selflessly, Erdoğan added that voluntary organizations and charities have carried out activities that make all proud.

The wounds caused by the earthquakes are being healed through the entire 85 million’s cooperation with the belief that pains alleviate through sharing, underlined the President. “We see that quake victims hold onto life with hope as the construction of permanent houses gets underway. We will fulfill one by one all the promises we have made and will thus let none of our brothers and sisters feel disappointed.”

Noting that steps are being taken to elevate Türkiye to an upper league in defense industry, Erdoğan said that they have conquered the skies first with UAVs, then with UCAVs and the Akıncı, and later on with the Kızılelma.

Drawing attention to the ongoing works to put into use the natural gas discovered in the Black Sea, Erdoğan said: “We are strengthening our cooperation with the Turkic world in every area. We are consolidating our trade, cultural and economic ties with the Islamic world. We are continuing the fight against terrorist organizations successfully. We are embellishing Türkiye with investments in every area from transport to health, from education to environment and urbanization. We will never stop, rest, or veer off our goals until we achieve the great leap forward, which we call the Century of Türkiye.
