European Orphan Hand provides food assistance to earthquake victims in Malatya

European Yetim Hand, an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed food parcels to earthquake-affected people in Malatya, one of the provinces hardest hit by the Feb. 6 earthquake.

The humanitarian aid campaign that was initiated by Hope Caravan Foundation, European Orphan Hand, Orphans Foundation, and IHO EBRAR to aid people who were struck by the deadly earthquakes in southern Türkiye and northern Syria continues in full swing.

Continuing to their charitable efforts uninterruptedly with the start of the holy month of Ramadan, sister aid organizations offer iftar and sahur meals to tens of thousands of people in the earthquake zone.

European Orphan Hand has been delivering the humanitarian aid donated by the Cuma Masjid community in Basel, Switzerland, to earthquake victims in Malatya.

Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their humanitarian aid efforts in Malatya, Mustafa Bünül, a volunteer for the organization, said: “We came from Basel, Switzerland. Malatya was seriously affected by the earthquakes. We distributed the aid donated by the benefactors of the Friday Masjid congregation to orphans and earthquake victims. May Allah (Jalla Jalaluhu) be pleased with the benefactors and accept their good deeds.”

Bünül also called on benefactors to deliver their zakat, fitra, and sadaqah to the earthquake victims. (ILKHA)
