Türkiye offers condolences to Saudi Arabia over bus crash victims

“We are deeply saddened that 20 people lost their lives and many were injured at the bus accident that occurred on 27 March in the Asir region in the southwest of Saudi Arabia,” the Ministry said.

“We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in this grievous accident, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded,” the Ministry added.

On Monday, at least 20 pilgrims have been killed and 29 others injured in a bus crash in Saudi Arabia.

The bus was transporting the pilgrims to Mecca when it hit a bridge in the southwestern province of Asir, overturned, and caught fire, according to local reports. (ILKHA)
