Türkiye suspends maritime traffic in Istanbul Strait due to heavy fog

The Directorate General of Coastal Safety said in a statement on its website that the two-way ship traffic has been suspended through the strait as of 15:30 local time.

The fog that became denser afternoon caused a decrease in the visibility for sea travel. (ILKHA)
