“This is a significant step to unite the Arab and Muslim world, boost security and understanding between the Arab and Muslim nations and achieve stability in the region,” the statement reads.
“Such a move serves the Palestinian cause and goes in line with supporting our Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli occupation and its continued aggression against our Palestinian people and their homeland and holy sites,” it added.
