The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the martyr as Mahmoud Jamal Hassan Hamdan, 22, who was shot and seriously injured after ZOF stormed the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho.
The Prisoners Authority announced that the new victim brought the total number of Palestinian prisoners who died in Israeli jails to 236, of whom 81 were killed in shooting attacks.
The bodies of 14 prisoners are still held in israeli morgues, the Authority added.
Earlier Wednesday, three Palestinians were shot and injured during an israeli military raid into the Aqabat Jaber camp, south of Jericho. Six more locals were detained.
The Red Crescent said that its crews provided medical assistance for three wounded citizens, one with a critical injury in his abdomen, during the ZOF raid in the camp.
The ZOF has been besieging Jericho City and Aqabat Jaber camp since resistance fighters carried out a shooting operation that killed one settler and wounded four others two days ago.
The incident occurred after extremist Jewish settlers rampaged through Huwara and other Palestinian villages near Nablus in the occupied West Bank, killing one Palestinian civilian and burning dozens of cars and homes. (ILKHA)
