Turkish FM to participate in the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in India

Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the participation of Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, at the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

“Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, will attend the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting to be hosted by the G20 Indian Presidency in New Delhi on 1-2 March 2023,” the Ministry said.

At the meeting, Ministers will exchange views on key issues on the global agenda, chiefly, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, food and energy security, counter-terrorism, and strengthening multilateralism and development cooperation.

On the margins of the G20 meetings, Çavuşoğlu will host the 23rd MIKTA Foreign Ministers Meeting and hand over the MIKTA Chairmanship Türkiye took over from Australia on 7 March 2022, to Indonesia.

Çavuşoğlu is also expected to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts on the sidelines of the meetings. (ILKHA)
