Hamas: Settlers' crimes practical translation of the Aqaba Summit

Member of Hamas Political Bureau abroad Sami Abu Zuhri reiterated on Monday that the zionist colonial settlers' atrocious crimes, protected by the occupation forces, against Huwwara town in occupied Nablus are a practical translation of the Aqaba Summit aimed at crushing the Palestinian resistance and giving the settlers free rein.

The Hamas official added that the colonial settlers' terrorism and crimes "will be faced with more resistance, a legitimate right under international law."

He pointed out that "the settlers' terrorism against Huwwara town is new evidence that we are facing a criminal enemy."

The Israeli violence will only lead to a legitimate and natural response from our heroic resistance, he added.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army chief decided to deploy additional military reinforcements in the West Bank, especially its northern regions.

Three military battalions were sent this morning to the West Bank.

Earlier Sunday, at least one Palestinian was killed and dozens more injured during organized settler attacks in Huwwara town, south of Nablus.

More than 30 homes and 15 cars were set ablaze in Huwwara, a town just outside of Nablus, locals said, adding that Israeli forces have reportedly granted settlers open access to the Palestinian town.

The Palestinian Red Crescent has confirmed that one civilian was killed, while at least 100 others have been wounded during the attack on the town. One of the Palestinians is seriously injured from head wounds. (ILKHA)
