Number of paid employees rise by 7.2 percent in Türkiye

While the number of paid employees was 13 million 797 thousand 768 in the same month of the previous year, it became 14 million 792 thousand 228 in December 2022.

When sub-sectors are examined; the number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 6.7%, in the construction sector increased by 9.2% and in trade-services sector increased by 7.1% annually.

The number of paid employees increased by 0.6% monthly

The number of paid employees including industry, construction, and trade-services sectors increased by 0.6% in December 2022 compared with the previous month.

When sub-sectors are examined; the number of paid employees in industrial sector increased 0.4%, in construction sector increased by 1.6% and in the trade-services sector increased by 0.5% monthly. (ILKHA)
