Afghan Red Crescent sends $50,000 to earthquake-affected people in Türkiye

The president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Mawlavi Muti-ul-Haq Khalis, delivered 4.5 million Afghanis (around $50,000) in aid for the families who were affected by a strong earthquake in Turkey to the ambassador of that country in Kabul.

The ARCS president assured the Turkish ambassador of assistance and any kind of cooperation.

He said that the Afghan Red Crescent Society stands by the Turkish people and shares this great sadness with those who suffered the tragedy.

Ambassador Erginay in Kabul, thanked the Afghan Red Crescent Society and promised to deliver aid to the earthquake-affected families.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan earlier also announced 15 million Afghanis in assistance to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. (ILKHA)
