The Constitutional Court elects a President and two Deputy-Presidents from among its members for a term of four years by secret ballot and by an absolute majority of the total number of its members.
They may be re-elected at the end of their term of office.
The President of the Constitutional Court represents the Court, sets the agenda of the Plenary and presides over the Plenary Sessions, oversees the administrative affairs, approves the regulations of the Court, and ensures the conformity of expenditures with the budget of the Court.
The President also assigns Members to the Sections and takes necessary precautions in order to ensure the balanced distribution of the workload among the Sections. (ILKHA)
