Five people are remaining there for the protection of the administrative building and property of the embassy, those who remain in the embassy will not carry out diplomatic activities,” Xalafov told reporters.
On Friday, a gunman attacked the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Tehran.
The assailant passed by the guard post with an AK-47 assault rifle and opened fire inside the embassy, while its staff tried to neutralize him.
The head of the embassy's security service, Orkhan Asgarov, was killed in the attack, while two guards were injured. (ILKHA)
