Erdoğan condemns attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran

“I strongly condemn the heinous attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, which resulted in the death of a security officer. I offer my condolences to our Azerbaijani brothers and wish healing to the wounded. Turkey stands by its dear friend and brother Azerbaijan,” Erdoğan wrote on Twitter.

Earlier on Friday, a guard has been killed and two others injured in an armed attack on Azerbaijan’s embassy in Iran’s capital Tehran. (ILKHA)
