Jenin massacre: Hamas vows to continue resistance against zionist brutalities

Hamas official Abdul-Hakim Hanini has condemned the zionist regime’s massacre in Jenin City and its refugee camp and the raid on its hospital, describing what happened as “barbaric aggression” and a “reflection of the Israeli occupation state’s sadism and terrorism mentality.”

Hanini said that Jenin and its refugee camp are fortresses of steadfastness and sacrifice, paying tribute to its residents and resistance fighters who faced the israeli aggression with valor and vigor.

He stressed that the sacrifices made by the Palestinian people on the path to freedom and dignity will not be in vain, adding that the Palestinian people would continue their revolution until they defeat the occupation and obtain their freedom.

For his part, member of Hamas’s political bureau Hisham Qasem said that the Jenin massacre was committed at the behest of the zionist regime’s new fascist right-wing government.

In a statement, Qasem affirmed that the strong confrontation of zionist occupation forces (ZOF) during their raid in Jenin camps reflected that the will of the resistance would remain solid and would not fear the use of lethal and barbaric force.

“The valiant resistance will not be intimidated by any israeli remarks and threats because it is determined to reach the path of liberation, whatever the cost,” he said.

The ZOF killed on Thursday morning at least nine Palestinians in one of the deadliest days in the occupied West Bank since israeli raids intensified at the start of last year.

The Palestinian health ministry said that 20 others were wounded with live ammunition in the raid on Jenin refugee camp, which was described by local media as a massacre.

An elderly woman has been reported among the dead, while four of the injured are in critical condition.

The ZOF also obstructed the work of ambulances and medics as they were trying to provide medical assistance for the wounded and evacuate them to hospitals. (ILKHA)
