Regarding the vehicle registrations in December, cars accounted for 41.2%, followed by motorcycles 37.2%, small trucks 12.2%, tractors 6.4%, trucks 2.1%, minibuses 0.5%, buses 0.3% and special purpose vehicles 0.1%.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 11.7% compared with the previous month
In December, compared with the previous month, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 37.6% for motorcycles, 12.0% for tractors, 2.3% for minibuses, 1.9% for cars while it decreased by 18.9% for buses, 17.2% for trucks, 5.2% for small trucks and 1.7% for special purpose vehicles respectively.
The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 109.2% compared with the same month of the previous year
In December, compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 264.2%, 91.2%, 84.0%, 43.2%, 26.3%, 24.3%, 16.9% for motorcycles, cars, minibuses, small trucks, tractors, buses, trucks respectively, while it decreased by 19.7% for special purpose vehicles.
At the end of December, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 26 million 482 thousand 847
At the end of December, cars represented 53.9%, small trucks 16.2%, motorcycles 15.6%, tractors 7.9%, trucks 3.5%, minibuses 1.8%, buses 0.8% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.
1 million 106 thousand 203 road motor vehicles handed over in December
Among vehicles handed over in December, cars accounted for 69.1% followed by small trucks 16.3%, motorcycles 5.4%, tractors 4.2%, trucks 2.5%, minibuses 1.8%, buses 0.5% and special purpose vehicles 0.2%.
In December, 56 thousand 506 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in December, Fiat recorded 14.5%, Renault 13.9%, Toyota 7.2%, Volkswagen 6.1%, Hyundai 6.0%, Opel 5.4%, Kia 4.3%, Mercedes-Benz 4.3%, Peugeot 4.1%, Dacia 3.9%, BMW 3.7%, Honda 3.7%, Citroen 3.5%, 3.4% Skoda, Audi 2.9%, Nissan 2.4%, Ford 2.2%, Seat 1.7%, Volvo 1.4%, Suzuki 1.2% and 4.3% the other trademarks of the total.
In the period of January-December, the ratio of cars registered using gasoline was 70.1%
Among 566 thousand 280 cars registered in the period of January-December, the share of gasoline-fuelled cars was 70.1% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 18.0%, hybrid cars with 8.5%, LPG-fuelled cars with 2.0% and electric cars with 1.4%. At the end of December, among 14 million 269 thousand 352 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 36.9% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 35.1% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 26.8%. The share of hybrid cars was 0.9% and electric cars was 0.1%. The cars with unknown fuel type was 0.2%.
Most frequent engine size was 1300 or less for registered cars in January-December period
Within 566 thousand 280 cars registered to traffic in January-December period, 31.0% had 1300 or less, 27.2% had 1401-1500, 24.4% had 1301-1400, 9.3% had 1501-1600, 5.8% had 1601-2000, 0.8% had 2001 and above engine size.
In January-December period 223 thousand 999 of cars registered were white
