ND-PPI (2010=100) increased by 2.77% monthly, by 49.90% on December of the previous year, by 49.90% on same month of the previous year and by 97.45% on the twelve months moving averages basis in December 2022.
Manufacturing increased by 49.95% annually
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 47.40% for mining and stone quarrying, by 49.95% for manufacturing compared with the previous year.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 51.95% for intermediate goods, by 49.42% for durable consumer goods, by 47.08% for non-durable consumer goods, by 83.46% for energy, by 46.54% for capital goods, annually.
Manufacturing increased by 2.79% monthly
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 1.74% for mining and stone quarrying, by 2.79% for manufacturing compared with the previous month.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 2.05% for intermediate goods, increased by 4.03% for durable consumer goods, increased by 2.89% for non-durable consumer goods, decreased by 3.32% for energy, increased by 4.19% for capital goods, monthly.
Compared to general ND-PPI, lower annual change observed in 12 subdivisions while 13 subdivisions were higher
The lowest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for metal ores by 28.56%, for wearing apparel by 35.47%, for other transport equipment by 37.95%.
On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 83.46%, for other non-metallic mineral products by 74.59%, for wood and products of wood and cork, except furniture by 69.21%.

The only rate of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry was index for coke and refined petroleum products by 3.32%.
On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for tobacco products by 12.15%, for computer, electronic and optical products by 5.49%, for motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 5.13%. (ILKHA)
