Heavy snowfall blocks 47 village roads in Turkey's Tunceli province

At least 47 roads were shut down to motor vehicle traffic due to heavy snowfall in the province which has seen freezing temperatures in recent days.

Snow removal crews are working hard to reopen roads to traffic, officials said.

Sivas, Ağrı, Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Iğdır and Malatya provinces in eastern Turkey also have been affected by heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures. (ILKHA)
