Amirabdollahian condoled with the acting Afghan foreign minister, the ministry’s staffers and their families, and wished swift recovery for the injured.

The Iranian foreign minister said the Wednesday terror attack outside the entrance to Afghanistan’s foreign ministry is very regrettable and we strongly condemn it.

He added: “We also extend our condolences to the families of the martyrs of this incident and wish for quick divine recovery for those injured.”

Amirabdollahian added terrorism is the common enemy of the regional countries and that terrorists seek fulfilling goals and desires of the world arrogance through killing innocent people so that the arrogant powers could dominate the regional countries.

The Iranian foreign minister added, what happened on Wednesday in Kabul and the recent terror incident in Shahcheragh holy Shrine in Shiraz have both a single origin, and that in order to fight it we should have a united strategy.

Amirabdollahian said  that “in order to counter terrorists, we should coordinate with each other with full force.”

Amir Khan Muttaqi for his part thanked the Iranian foreign minister for his phone call and reaffirmed the brotherly and friendly ties between the people of the two countries.

He also emphasized that neighboring countries should decisively fight terrorism through cooperation with one another. (ILKHA)
