“We are neither anyone's backyard nor a party that gives unconditional support to anyone. We will give support to anyone who does something right,” Yapıcıoğlu said.

Yapıcıoğlu reminded that he had a meeting with President and AK Part Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan last week, adding that both had held similar meetings before.

“We also held talks with the other parties’ leaders, and we will continue our dialogue with other political parties,” Yapıcıoğlu said.

The alliance issue

Yapıcıoğlu went on to say: “We say that the doors of dialogue between political parties should always be open. We have received alliance offers from more than one party or sometimes other parties request support from us. As HUDA PAR, we have not yet made a decision on whether to join any alliance. Time will tell about this. We can take part in an alliance, it is possible. But despite this, we say that we have principles and ideals. We don't necessarily think that we should take part in an alliance no matter how, but we can take part in an alliance. If we think the offer made to us is noteworthy and it is in the interest of the nation, we look at it positively. But as of now, we do not have a decision on this issue.” (ILKHA)
