According to local officials, at least five passengers were wounded slightly while they were escaping from the aircraft.

No explosives were found on the plane. Runways at the airport were temporarily closed because of the incident.

“The Centrair runway was closed due to an emergency landing, but we have resumed operations,” Chubu Airport wrote on Twitter.

An information center at Narita Airport received a phone call from Germany, with the caller claiming to have put 100 kilograms of plastic explosives in the aircraft’s cargo hold, officials said. (ILKHA)
