Hamas leader offers congratulations to newly-released Karim Younis

During the phone call, Haneyya congratulated Younis on his release from israeli jails after 40 years behind bars.

"We congratulate the family of the great fighter Karim Younis, the masses of our people, and our other prisoners in their joy at his release," Haneyya said.

He also pointed out that Younis embodied the most impressive forms of defiance, steadfastness and patience, considering his release from Israeli jails as a victory for human justice.

For his part, Karim Younis thanked the head of the Movement for his call, stressing the Palestinian prisoners' unwavering position in support of the Palestinian struggle for freedom. (ILKHA)
