As an international help organization based in Istanbul, Hope Caravan Foundation engages in a great deal of charity work such as the construction of mosques and freshwater wells and the delivery of food, clothes, and shoes to the poor across the world.

After carrying out many humanitarian relief activities such as the distribution of food, clothing items, and blankets to orphans and families in need in the country, the foundation delivered house coal and hot meals to hundreds of needy people living in IDP camps in Idlib.

“We have distributed 5 sacks of coal to each family. We have also provided hot meals to hundreds of families, especially to those who live in camps in remote areas. May Allah be pleased with our donors,” Cengiz Aydın, a volunteer for the foundation, told Ilke News Agency.

The Syrian conflict has been defined by 10 years of displacement, making Syria the largest displacement crisis since the Second World War.

Over 13.5 million Syrians have fled their homes for safety, and many have been displaced multiple times.

In Idlib, where there are 3.4 million civilians, 2 million are displaced. Many of these live in tents, in IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camps.

In winter, temperatures regularly drop well bellowing freezing and, with ripped sheets and poor access to fuel needed to heat tents, many lives are at risk.(ILKHA)
