Four religious scholars will meet with the officials of the Islamic Emirate in Kandahar and Kabul, according to reports.
A local official in the Pakistani border city of Chaman has confirmed the news.
The local official in Chaman has further said, their meetings with the Afghan border officials in Spin Boldak have been delayed, adding that the delegation will have more comprehensive discussions with Afghan authorities.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has not said anything about the Pakistani scholars traveling to Kabul so far
Meanwhile, Sunday, Sardar Ahmed Shakib, the deputy ambassador of Afghanistan in Islamabad, announced the establishment of a joint commission between Afghanistan and Pakistan to resolve border tensions between the two countries.
There have been limited clashes between the border guards of the two countries in Spin Boldek and other parts of the border lines between the two countries. (ILKHA)
