Number of paid employees in Türkiye rises by 7.4% annually

The number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors increased by 7.4% in October 2022 compared with the same month of the previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute said.

While the number of paid employees was 13 million 861 thousand 65 in the same month of the previous year, it became 14 million 883 thousand 717 in October 2022.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 6.2%, in construction sector increased by 5.3% and in trade-services sector increased by 8.5%.

Number of paid employees increased by 0.5% monthly

Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors increased by 0.5% in October 2022 compared with the previous month.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased 0.2%, in construction sector increased by 1% and in trade-services sector increased by 0.5% monthly. (ILKHA)
