Türkiye’s chicken meat production rises by 2.3 pct in October

In October, hen egg production increased by 4.5%, chicken meat production increased by 2.3%, the number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 1.6% and turkey meat production decreased by 18.8% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In the January-October period, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 10.7%, chicken meat production increased by 9.5%, turkey meat production increased by 8.5%, and hen egg production increased by 2.1% compared with the same period of the previous year.

Chicken meat production declined by 4.2% in October compared to the previous month and decreased from 210 thousand 77 tons to 201 thousand 203 tons.

Hen egg production rose by 2.7% in October compared to the previous month and increased from 1 billion 719 million 465 thousand units to 1 billion 766 million 165 thousand units. (ILKHA)
