“I can confirm that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will lead the Russian delegation to the G20. President Putin's program is still being worked out, but he could participate virtually,” said Yulia Tomskaya, the chief of protocol of the Russian embassy.

The decision comes after Moscow ordered its forces to pull out of the Ukrainian city of Kherson, which means Russian forces will pull out entirely from the western bank of the River Dnipro.

The 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit will take place on 15-16 November in Bali.

The Summit will be the pinnacle of the G20 process and intense work carried out within the Ministerial Meetings, Working Groups, and Engagement Groups throughout the year. (ILKHA)
