Türkiye’s chicken meat production rises in September

In September, turkey meat production increased by 21.1%, hen egg production increased by 6.5%, chicken meat production increased by 5.7%, and the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 4.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In the January-September period, turkey meat production increased by 12.1%, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 11.8%, chicken meat production increased by 10.4%, and hen egg production increased by 1.8% compared with the same period of the previous year.

Chicken meat production declined by 2.7% in September compared to the previous month and decreased from 215 thousand 865 tons to 210 thousand 77 tons.

Hen egg production rose by 2.1% in September compared to the previous month and increased from 1 billion 684 million 691 thousand units to 1 billion 719 million 515 thousand units. (ILKHA)
