Incumbent Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was re-elected by a landslide 81.3% of the vote, according to preliminary results.
The voter turnout in the presidential election was 69.44%, the commission said.
A total of 12 candidates were nominated for the presidency with Tokayev being supported by the People's Coalition, an electoral alliance formed by the pro-government political parties of Amanat, Aq Jol Democratic Party, and the People's Party of Kazakhstan, as well as various public associations.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev assumed office as the acting president after Nursultan Nazarbayev's resignation in 2019.
He was elected president of Kazakhstan on 9 June 2019 with 71% of the popular vote. (ILKHA)
