Manufacturing increased by 116.95% annually
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 121.80% for mining and stone quarrying, by 116.95% for manufacturing compared with the previous year.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 128.34% for intermediate goods, by 106.95% for durable consumer goods, by 105.70% for non-durable consumer goods, by 211.54% for energy, by 105.34% for capital goods, annually.
Manufacturing increased by 0.64% monthly
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 2.03% for mining and stone quarrying, by 0.64% for manufacturing compared with the previous month.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 0.66% for intermediate goods, increased by 1.27% for durable consumer goods, increased by 1.71% for non-durable consumer goods, decreased by 5.20% for energy, increased by 0.35% for capital goods, monthly.
Compared to general ND-PPI, the lower annual change observed in 14 subdivisions while 11 subdivisions were higher
The lowest rates of the annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for tobacco products by 80.82%, for wearing apparel by 81.66%, for leather and related products by 96.15%.
On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 211.54%, for other non-metallic mineral products by 143.59%, for chemicals and chemical products by 142.91%.
Compared to general ND-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 9 subdivisions while 15 subdivisions were higher
The highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 5.20%, for electrical equipment by 1.00%, for motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 0.20%.
On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for wood and products of wood and cork, except furniture by 4.37%, for computer, electronic and optical products by 3.12%, for food products by 2.72%. (ILKHA)
