Zabiullah Mujahid, who came to Diyarbakır to attend the 7th Islamic Scholars Meeting held by ITTIHADUL ULEMA, was received by Yapıcıoğlu at the party’s provincial headquarters.

Yapıcıoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the visit and wished that the visit would be beneficial for the two sides.

Underlining that everyone must get Afghanistan back on its feet, Yapıcıoğlu said: “Due to a very long war, Afghanistan's infrastructure has been destroyed, human resources have suffered very serious damage, and its economic resources are still not fully available due to embargoes. On this occasion, we once again call on all Islamic countries. It is the duty of all of us to establish all kinds of political and cultural relations with our brothers and sisters there and to hold their hands.

Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that in addition to the Islamic states, there are duties that fall to everyone, especially non-governmental organizations and business people.

Mujahid: Our country needs humanitarian aid and economic project

For his part, Zabiullah Mujahid thanked Zakeriya Yapıcıoğlu and other HÜDA PAR officials for the hospitality and reception during the visit.

Talking about the situation in Afghanistan, Mujahid said: “We want the people and state of Turkey to know that the Afghan people have faced serious difficulties in the last few years. The war in our country has just ended. Therefore, our country needs humanitarian aid and economic projects.”

Mujahid went on to say: “We want Turkish businessmen to take advantage of the opportunity in Afghanistan. After 40 years, we have restored security and stability in our country. Thus, a very good and favorable environment for investments was created. The government of Turkey, its people, businessmen, scholars, and those who have the same opinion as us can support and help us and invest in Afghanistan. Both themselves and our people will benefit greatly from the investments they will make.” Mujahid stated.

“As Afghan people, we can benefit from experiences of the Turkish economy. We can rebuild our cities. We can generate our electricity. I call on businessmen and entrepreneurs to cooperate with Afghan people. What we want from Turkish traders and businessmen, who have experience in the development of their own countries, is to transfer the same experience to Afghanistan. They can invest in mining, construction, and various fields. We request our Turkish friends to support us and lead the development of Afghanistan,” Mujahid added. (ILKHA)
