“As a result of an attack by kamikaze drones, an explosion occurred in a residential building in the Shevchenko district of the capital. At present, 18 people have been rescued from it. According to preliminary information, two residents remain under the rubble,” Vitalii Klitschko said in a statement on Twitter.

“Rescue operations are ongoing. Extinguishing of destroyed building structures and demolition of rubble is ongoing. Are there any casualties - we are clarifying the information,” Klitschko added.

Responding to this morning’s attacks, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said: “All night and all morning, the enemy terrorizes the civilian population. Kamikaze drones and missiles are attacking all of Ukraine. A residential building was hit in Kyiv. The enemy can attack our cities, but it won’t be able to break us. The occupiers will get only fair punishment and condemnation of future generations. And we will get victory.” (ILKHA)
