Biggest problem of Muslims is the lack of unity among them—Zabiullah Mujahid

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabiullah Mujahid, who participated in the “7th Islamic Scholars Meeting” held by the Union of Scholars and Madrasahs (ITTIHADUL ULEMA), spoke to Ilke News Agency regarding the meeting.

Noting that Islamic scholars have a lot to do for the unity of the Ummah, Mujahid call on scholars to build positive relations with each other.

Mujahid expressed his satisfaction with the organization of scholars meeting and said: I am very happy to participate in the meeting that brought together scholars from across the Islamic world to discuss matters on science, knowledge and research, providing grounds for holding consultations with each other.

Underlining that the biggest problem that Muslims face is lack of unity them, Mujahid emphasized that scholars must shoulder important responsibility for establishing unity and solidarity in the Islamic world. “If Muslims unite among themselves and build solidarity, they will be able to solve all their problems by themselves. The establishment of unity among Muslims is a very important. Islamic scholars can do very important work on this matter.”

“Harmony among scholars will be instrumental in bringing Muslim countries closer to each other”

Noting that there should be constant dialogues between the scholars of the Ummah, Mujahid continued his remarks as follows: “I think scholar must be in positive relations with each other. Harmony and dialogue among scholars will be instrumental in bringing Muslim countries closer to each other. If we, as Muslims living in different countries, improve our relations with each other, and discuss our problems, we will find solutions to our problems.
