Magnitude 4.3 earthquake strikes Iran, felt in eastern Turkey

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit 24 km southwest of the city of Khoy, Iran at 16:37 local time (12:37 GMT), European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

The epicenter of the earthquake was near Marand City in Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province.

The tremor was also felt in the Başkale district of Turkey’s eastern Van province.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries after the quake. (ILKHA)
