Turkiye condemns deadly attacks in Somalia

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the terrorist attacks in Somalia.

“We are deeply saddened to learn that many people, including regional government officials and civilians lost their lives and were injured in the terrorist attacks that took place today (3 October) in Beledweyne, Somalia,” the Ministry said.

“We condemn these heinous terrorist attacks in the strongest possible terms and wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives, extend our condolences to the relatives as well as to the friendly and brotherly Government and people of Somalia, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the Ministry added.

Earlier on Monday, at least 20 people were killed and 36 others injured in the central Somali town of Beledweyne in the explosions of three car bombs. (ILKHA)
