“In the night of 24 to 25 September, around 00:00 a.m., the front part of a passenger train derailed at Wessemerdijk (near the village of Leveroy) in the municipality of Nederweert. There were about 250 passengers on the train in question,” said ProRail, a government task organisation that takes care of maintenance and extensions of the national railway network infrastructure in Nehterlands.
According to initial reports, none of the passengers was injured in the incident. (ILKHA)
