Soon after the shooting, the zionist occupation forces (ZOF) launched a manhunt and captured two Palestinian young men. They also raided nearby West Bank areas to look for another suspect.
According to local sources, at least two Israeli passengers, including the driver, suffered moderate-to-serious injuries in the shooting incident. They were treated at the scene by medics before being evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa by a helicopter.
Four other passengers were slightly injured by glass shrapnel and treated at the scene before being evacuated to Ha’Emek Hospital in Afula.
The shooting took place on a road in the Jordan Valley near the illegal settlement of Hamra.
Later, the Hebrew media affirmed that most of the passengers on the bus were soldiers wearing army uniforms, quoting an israeli military source as saying that all the wounded were soldiers.
According to the ZOF, Palestinian young men shot at the bus from a truck and forced it to stop and then poured gasoline on the bus in an attempt to set it on fire. (ILKHA)
